It's almost time to set the table and get ready for Thanksgiving guests. Here's a quick screen printing project to personalize your table this year. You can use your own design, monogram, or choose a pre-made design from Cricut Access.  I chose the “It's Fall Give Thanks” design (#M8A1C758) and removed the “It's Fall” part using the contour button in Design Space.  Scroll down to watch this in action.

I found this basic blank table runner on Amazon. It comes in a variety of sizes and colors.  This is the natural color. I thought the quality was great for the price!

After I cut my vinyl on my Cricut Maker, I used my favorite transfer tape to attach it to my 10×14 Speedball frame.  I squeegeed the black fabric ink over the top of the screen and revealed my printed design.  Carefully turning the table runner around, I screen printed the same design on the other end.

After allowing the ink to dry (at least overnight), you will want to heat set the ink.  Here are more details about how to heat set fabric ink.  Heat setting the ink will make it permanent in case you need to wash your table runner.

To learn more about how to get started screen printing with your vinyl cutter, I have a step-by-step guide available here.
