Hip Hip Horray, It's the 100th Day!  If you have an elementary school kiddo, you know the excitement of this particular day of school. Class usually revolves around lots of activities that involve counting to 100.

The 100th day has actually become a bit of a running joke in our family.  For different reasons – from being sick to having a medical procedure, my daughter (who is now in 3rd grade) has missed the 100th day of school for the last 2 years.  She is determined that she won't miss the festivities this year.

Dress like you are 100 years old.

I've seen some really cute kiddos dressing up in robes, grey wigs, and glasses with walkers. Neither of my kids would get into this idea, so we have always opted to make a fun t-shirt.

100th Day of School T-shirt DIY Idea

Make a t-shirt to wear to school.

In preparation for the 100th day of school, I always make a special shirt to wear. This is one of my favorite designs. The design includes 100 hearts in the design. 100 Days and Lovin' It Design for Silhouette or Cricut available in my shop.  Also available for 100s day is this 100 Days and Counting Design.

Count 100 items from home.

Many teachers will ask students to bring in 100 items from home as a homework assignment. I've seen some creative ideas from candy to pennies to rubber bands.

100 Years Old App for 100s Day

Use an app to see what you will look like as a 100 year old.

How well are you going to age? The kids always get a good laugh when seeing their picture as a 100 year old. You can download this app to try your own photos.  Free Aging Booth app available in App Store.

100 Days of School Grand Candy Teacher Gift

Take a treat to your special teachers.

Teachers need to be celebrated today too!  They have survived 100 days at school. This year, I packaged up 100 Grand candy bars for our teachers along with this 100 Grand printable.
