We enjoy picking something different for our Halloween costumes. Frozen's Elsa and Anna were hugely popular this year, but I was able to convince the girls to be something unique.

Payton was a Denver Zookeeper in honor of her Uncle Will (formerly an arborist with the Denver Zoo but currently fighting cancer).  This was a fitting costume for Payton and her love for all her stuffed animals.  I found this dress at Old Navy in their uniform section and added an iron-on vinyl logo.  The hat was from Amazon.

Taylor is into reading the Nancy Drew and the Clue Crew series.  We had to get a little creative to make a more recognizable detective but still called her “Nancy Drew“.  Our sweet friend sewed the cape to match this detective hat I found on Amazon.

  1. Super cute costume ideas! I am putting together a “zookeeper” birthday party for my daughter, and we actually live in Denver… so I was wondering if you bought the iron-on transfer somewhere or did you make it? If you bought it, would you mind telling me where? And if you made it, where did you get the graphic? Thanks so much!
