I've taken a long break from blogging, but I have been busy working on projects and trying out ideas I found via Pinterest (follow me).  I love having a place to collect ideas (before Pinterest I printed out everything).  But what I love even more is completing projects from my list.

Here are some of the things I've tried….

Hooks in the Laundry Room  From brynalexandra.blogspot.com

This was my latest project and I'm excited to post a picture of how they turned out (need to remember to take the photo during the day).  I think they are going to be very functional. We'll see if it helps motivate me to do more laundry.  Ha!

Car Food Trays    From lookiewhatidid.blogspot.com

These did not work out so well for us.  Both girls spilled.  I still like the idea, but may have to try smaller containers that won't tip so easily.

Football Sweatshirts    From etsy.com

I loved making these.  Of course, we did them in Bulldawg blue.  I cut the brown football out of iron-on vinyl.  Very simple idea, turned out cute!

Christmas Candle in Snow  From firefliesandjellybeans.blogspot.com

I did this one with a slight modification.  I attached snowflake ornaments to a red candle and displayed them with the snow in the bottom of the vase.  See my post about these candles.

Chalkboard Labels   From iheartorganizing.blogspot.com

I used this idea to organize toys in my daughter's closet.  I love how the look and the chalk ink is amazing stuff.  It wipes of clean with a wet rag.

Puff Paint Decor  From virginiaandcharlie.blogspot.com

Mine did NOT turn out as cute as this one!  Not sure if was the type of puff paint or my lack of experience, but I couldn't seem to get a consistent size line.  Still love how this one looks though.

Webmaster Humor  From heavilyblunted.com

I have this framed on my office shelves.  Love it!
